This page explains how PornAIGirlfriend selects, reviews, and ranks the apps in this directory, so you can judge our work for yourself.

How we select apps

We include apps that are live, reachable, and relevant to the AI girlfriend and NSFW AI chat category. We add apps we believe readers are actively searching for, and we list platforms whether or not we have an affiliate relationship with them. Being an affiliate is never a condition for inclusion, and not being one is never a reason for exclusion.

What our reviews are based on

Each listing is built from information the provider publishes: pricing, credit or token mechanics, supported platforms, stated privacy and retention terms, and available features. We verify these against the live product on the date shown on the page. Where we have used an app directly, the listing says so. We do not claim hands-on testing of every platform, because that would not be true, and a directory that pretends to have tested everything is not one you should trust.

What we report on every app

• Real entry price: the actual cost of the cheapest paid plan, not just the headline.
• Pricing model: one-time tokens, subscription, or freemium, and what the free tier actually allows.
• Conversation quality: how natural the chat feels, and whether the app keeps long-term memory of past conversations.
• Media features: image generation, voice messages, video calls, and whether an NSFW toggle is available.
• Privacy posture: content retention, account requirements, and deletion options. See our Privacy Evaluation Criteria.
• Platforms: web, mobile apps, or messaging bots.
• An honest verdict: who an app suits, and who should look elsewhere.

How rankings work

Category rankings weigh conversation and image quality, real value for money, privacy handling, and breadth of features. We do not sell ranking positions. An app cannot pay to rank higher, and a higher commission does not move an app up the list.
